RICH TRIBUTES PAID TO ICON DR VISHNUVARDHANA!

While there was poised moment on the one side in the Kannada cinema industry there was jubilation mood with film launches and audio releases.

The Industry as a whole did not remember the icon of Kannada cinema industry Dr Vishnuvardhana on his first death anniversary. Hodorella Hogali…was the attitude of the Kannada cinema industry people.

The day was remembered in processions and good work like medical check up, eye and blood donation at the memorial of Dr Vishnuvardhana.

The Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa, Home Minister Ashok, Minister Shoba Karandlaje, Information director Muddhu Mohan came to the spot where Dr Vishnuvardhana was cremated and paid rich floral tributes.

Karnataka chief minister speaking on this occasion said the memorial work of Dr Vishnuvardhana begins from January 15 and already Rs.5 crores out of Rs.10 crore has been released. Home Minister R Ashok said he is also a fan of Dr Vishnuvardhana. Dr Vishnuvardhana is the property of this state. He has left behind many unforgettable films. He was joining with the pleasures and pains of the people said Ashok.

Most of the Kannada cinema industry people who were close connected to Dr Vishnuvardhana was missing.

However the procession from National College ground with ‘Simha Jyothi Yathre’ took off at 8.30 am as soon as Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana and Anirudh arrived in white costume.

The procession after leaving the balloons in the air moved in the same direction Dr Vishnuvardhana was carried on the day of his death.

The fans in thousands remembered Dr Vishnuvardhana and that was enough felt so many. Holding the Karnataka flag the silent procession was taken up the fans without disturbing the traffic showed the discipline in the fans. Such disciplines is what Dr Vishnuvardhana also floated in his life of 59 years on this earth.

Dr Vishnuvardhana was seen in calendars, wrist watches, huge cut outs etc on Wednesday. As the thousands of fans thronged the place next to Abhiman studio the ‘Simha Jyothi Yathre’ was received and already there was medical aid for hundreds of people were taken up.

Rockline Venkatesh, Shivaramanna, Ramesh Bhat, Shobaraj, Vishukumar and others offered floral tributes to Dr Vishnuvardhana.
